ASSURANCE PROGRAMMES

What must stay true, stays true.

As your business grows, the ground shifts beneath it. The law changes, your operations change, or the advice that was right before quietly stops fitting the business you have become. Assurance is how you stay confident that your legal foundations are sound, not once, but as an ongoing discipline.

Who this is for.

Our Assurance  is a structured review of your legal position across your business - contracts,  employment documents, IP ownership, compliance - checked against what the business actually needs today. It works for any business at any stage.

Most well-run businesses build  this kind of review into how they operate. It's more straightforward to close a gap early, on your own terms, than to find it during M&A due diligence, a funding round, or a dispute.

Every Assurance programme follows the same path.

01

Audit

We start by understanding what you actually do and where you stand today: your current documentation, processes and practices, against what the law and good practice now require.

02

Gaps

We show you clearly where you are exposed, what has fallen out of date, and what needs to change, with practical recommendations prioritised so you know what matters most.

03

Fix

We put it right: updating documents, processes and practices so your foundations are sound and current, and giving you a clear record of where you stand.

04

Ongoing

The law and your business both keep moving, so the work needs to stay maintained. You have two ways to do that. You can retain us to maintain it through the year: regular reviews, updates as things change, and roadmaps for what is coming. That way, the position we put right stays right without you having to think about it. Or, where you have an in-house team, we can hand the work over and equip them to maintain it themselves, with the tools and understanding to keep it current, ensuring what we put right does not drift back out of date.

M&A

When you are preparing for a sale, investment or acquisition, your business is about to face the most thorough examination it will ever get. A buyer's advisers will go through your contracts, your data, your people, your IP and your corporate structure looking for problems - and anything they find becomes a reason to lower the price, slow the deal, or walk away. Transaction Readiness turns that examination on its head. We run the diligence first, from your side - building a mini data room and reviewing your business the way a buyer's team will, across every discipline they will scrutinise. We find the issues before they do, tell you which ones matter, and fix what can be fixed while the pressure is off and the leverage is still yours. The result is that when the buyer's diligence begins, there are no surprises. The difficult questions already have answers, the gaps are already closed, and you approach the deal from a position of strength - protecting both the price and the timetable.
